The Uganda Wildlife Authority has confirmed all gorilla trekking & chimp tracking permits will be discounted from the 1st December 2020 to the 31st March 2021! Plus a 50% entrance fee reduction off our most popular savannah national parks & reserves, including Murchison Falls National Park, Queen Elizabeth National Park & Kidepo Valley National Park to name a few.

These safari discounts are available for all fee brackets, whether a citizen of the East African Community, foreign resident, or foreign non resident traveller in Uganda for a short trip.

Uganda's Gorilla Trekking Discounts

The discounted gorilla permits are available for trekking groups at all four of Bwindi Impenetrable National Park's trailheads; Buhoma, Ruhija, Rushaga & Nkuringo. The less visited gorillas in Mgahinga Gorilla National Park can also be tracked on this deal. Uganda is regarded as one of the best locations to track the mountain gorillas, so with these discounts it’s the perfect time to experience the rainforest on a gorilla trekking tour!

How do I get mine?
We secure & collect gorilla trekking permits (subject to availability) as part of our tour services for all safari packages booked with us.

How much do they cost?
There are large savings for all travellers who head out to enjoy Uganda’s gorilla trekking experience before the 31st March 2021! You can find details based on your residency status in the table below. Please note that these promotional permit prices cannot be rescheduled to dates outside of the promotion period.

All of our safaris including gorilla trekking include this deal, so long as your trekking date is on or before the 31st March 2021. You can of course travel with us after this date but the permit price will revert back to the standard rate until the next offer!

Uganda's Park & Reserve Entrance Fee Discounts

Some of Uganda’s most popular national parks including; Murchison Falls NP, Queen Elizabeth NP, Kidepo Valley NP, Lake Mburo NP & Semuliki NP, all have discount rates on their entrance fees until the 31st March 2021. Additionally some of the countries most visited wildlife reserves also have reduced entrance fees for this period including;  Toro Semliki Wildlife Reserve, Katonga Wildlife Reserve, Kabwoya Wildlife Reserve & Pian Upe Wildlife Reserve. With some of the country's highest quality parks at discount entrance prices, it’s a great moment to explore on a classic savannah safari!

We will remove your total savings discount, off the total cost of your safari packageWe will remove your total savings discount, off the total cost of your safari package. Please note that you must carry with you on safari proof of your residency status (East African Community Citizens / Foreign Residents), if you qualify for the lower entrance prices (see below).

How much are they discounted?
Entrance fees are discounted by 50%. Uganda’s national park & wildlife reserves are categorised into three tiers based on the quality of facilities, with category A parks having the highest quality & category C parks having the lowest. Each category has a standard price for East African Community Citizens, Foreign Resident & Foreign Non Residents.

This includes birding walks in some of Uganda’s top rainforest birding destinations including Bwindi Impenetrable NP, Mgahinga Gorilla NP & Kibale NP. As well Uganda’s renowned top savannah birding destinations such as Lake Mburo NP, Queen Elizabeth NP & Murchison Falls NP. Uganda is a world renowned birding destination & with these discounts it's the perfect time to seek out our feathered friends on a bird watching tour

Combined with reduced national park & reserve entrance fees, there’s real savings to be had!
